ACADEMIC SESSIONS & OFFICIAL EVENTS/PROGRAMMES/ACTIVITIES MALE 1. Students must wear attire that covers the aurat: long-sleeved shirt with black slacks/trousers, full traditional/national attire with collar, and polished black leather shoes. 2.Wearing jeans is strictly not allowed. 3. Students must wear covered shoes; sandals, slippers, or non-collared T-shirts are not permitted. 4.Hair must be short, neat, and not touch the shirt collar. 5.Headwear permitted for male students is a black songkok. Wearing any type of cap is prohibited. FEMALE 1. Students must wear attire that covers the aurat, neat, modest, and proper. 2. Students must wear loose clothing that does not reveal body shape and is not see-through/sheer. 3. Students must wear covered shoes that conceal the toes, sides, and heels. 4.Wearing a face veil (purdah) is not allowed. 5.Wearing jeans is strictly not allowed. 6.Makeup, accessories, and perfume should be kept moderate/subtle. 2. ON CAMPUS GROUNDS MALE 1. Students must wear attire that covers the aurat, neat, and long pants/trousers. 2. Students must wear covered shoes; sandals or non-collared T-shirts are not allowed. 3.Hair must be short, neat, and not touch the shirt collar. 4. Permitted headwear includes a black songkok or suitable cap worn correctly (not backward). However, caps are not allowed inside the Library. FEMALE 1. Students must wear attire that covers the aurat, neat, modest, and proper. 2. Students must wear loose clothing that does not reveal body shape and is not see-through/sheer. 3.Wearing a face veil (purdah) is not allowed. 4.Wearing jeans is strictly not allowed. 5.Makeup, accessories, and perfume should be kept moderate/subtle.
