CONCLUSION This study proposed a generative AI-integrated chatbot to support hajj and umrah learning. The aim is to provide pilgrims with accurate, Shariah-compliant and easy-to-understand guidance before and during their journey. By following a design and development research approach, the study identified gaps in current digital tools and outlined how AI can improve personalization, accessibility, and real-time support. Although the chatbot is still under development, the preliminary analysis shows strong potential benefits. The system is expected to help pilgrims learn and practice rituals more effectively, reduce confusion, and increase confidence during Hajj and Umrah. It also offers multilingual support and offline access, making it more inclusive for diverse groups of users. Future work will focus on building and testing the prototype with real users. Feedback from pilgrims, trainers, and religious scholars will be essential to improve accuracy, usability, and cultural appropriateness. With further refinement, the chatbot can become a valuable tool for both individual learners and official training programs, contributing to a smoother and more meaningful pilgrimage experience.
