36 From artificial intelligence (AI) to other emerging digital technologies, innovation has created new opportunities to communicate faith while also raising ethical challenges that call for responsible and value-based engagement. Several examples of this are the translation of Islamic educational and instructional materials into other languages, improving accessibility for disabled groups, and organizing very large collections of Islamic resources. Meanwhile, AI- generated religious texts, videos, manipulated clips and the like have the potential to be confusing if misused. For that reason, academics and educators in Islam argue that technology should augment qualified religious scholarship and personal spiritual mentorship, not replace them. This calls for responsible use of these technologies guided by Islamic ethical principles ( amanah /trustworthiness, adl /justice, and maslahah /public benefit). Islamic Values: A Compass for Digital Prudence Similarly, Islamic values also teach believers that good communication starts with intentions. Da'wah is not for the sake of fame or social media fame, but to invite people to goodness with wisdom and beautiful preaching. The Qur'an instructs Muslims to "call to the path of Your Lord with wisdom and good admonition" ( Surah An-Nahl, Qur'an 16:125 ). It emphasizes that communication should enlighten instead of judge and unite rather than divide. As they say, you need to inspire your readers, not convince them, which is why personal stories, kindness in action and community service work more magic on hearts, as opposed to arguments or sensationalism. Closing In years to come, the future of faith communication will continue to be shaped by this technological innovation. Digital platforms will continue to be crucial spaces where people question and examine elements of identity, purpose, and spirituality. For Muslims, this represents the development of innovations while firmly anchored in the perennial teachings of the Qur'an and Sunnah. Simply put, technology is a tool, and like all tools, it can be used for good or bad purposes. Flowing with sincerity, wisdom, and a sense of moral responsibility, digital communication can be an effective way to bring hope back into communities, galvanizing goodwill, healing wounds, and reflecting the essence of mercy in Islam.
