ABSTRACT This article examines the role of Artificial Intelligence in the cross-cultural communication revolution through a SWOT analysis, highlighting its potential to enhance interactions with real-time translation and sentiment analysis. Despite these benefits, issues of accuracy, bias, and ethical concerns persist. The study emphasizes leveraging Islamic principles to address these challenges and promote effective communication in the digital era. Introduction In the modern era, characterized by increasing digital connectivity, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a primary force in facilitating cross-cultural communication. As a product of human technology, AI has the potential to strengthen cross-cultural relationships and foster global collaboration. However, it is also crucial to consider the Islamic perspective when addressing the challenges and maximizing AI's potential in cross-cultural communication. Islamic teachings emphasize the importance of understanding and appreciating the diversity of Allah’s creation. The Qur'an teaches that Allah created mankind from various nations and tribes so that they may know and interact with one another (Surah al-Hujurat [49]: 13), encouraging harmonious dialogue and communication among individuals from different cultural backgrounds. The hadith of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) also highlights the importance of positive communication, stating, “Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent” (Narrated by Bukhari), thus underscoring the value of positive interaction and the avoidance of intercultural conflicts.
