28 Research Synergy on the perceptions of Bandung's citizens found that 93.4% of respondents had a positive view of the development of local culture and tourism, and 87.4% appreciated the provision of public facilities, including the thematic parks. This reflects the citizens’ recognition of the government’s performance in the tourism and public facility sectors. Public Service Communication As a communications professional, I observe that the "Bandung Cantik" identity is an integral part of the public service communication provided by the Bandung city government to its citizens. Some scholars dubbed this century the “customer century,” where service users are positioned in a place of honor. Therefore, it is time for a new paradigm that gives the community a more respected role to be developed widely, including within the Bandung city government’s mindset. The Bandung Command Center plays a pivotal role in realizing Bandung as a Smart City. This advanced system incorporates two software programs: Media Social Mapping and Panic Button. Media Social Mapping tracks citizen conversations on social media, especially those concerning public services or complaints about infrastructure, allowing government officials to monitor issues related to public service communication in real time. Public service communication supports the implementation of high-quality public service delivery. There are several reasons why public service activities are essential: Serving the public – Service is both an obligation and an honor, serving as a foundation for a humane society. It offers organizations an opportunity to demonstrate their credibility and capabilities. In this context, serving the people of Bandung is not just a duty but also an honor for the city government to earn the trust of its citizens. Trust cannot be bought; it is earned through sincere service from the government to the community. Effective communication – Communication is vital in how an organization interacts with and treats the public. It humanizes people and fosters positive interactions. The Bandung city government uses communication activities in public services to create a positive image and encourage the development of a good reputation for the city. Ridwan Kamil has successfully shifted the mindset within the government, fostering a commitment to making public service an essential part of life. He has transformed the goal of government activities from purely rational objectives to include more profound, beyond- rational goals. This shift encourages public servants to provide services with genuine motivation and awareness. Service, in this context, becomes an act of kindness and sincerity
