35 From an Islamic perspective, the idea of making AI the ‘ God of information ’ without due consideration for ethical principles and safeguards is fraught with potential risks and consequences. Prioritizing AI as the ultimate authority on information may result in a loss of the human touch, especially in decision-making processes. Holding onto the teachings of Islam could be a guide in putting some control over the joy of gaining free information. This includes empathy, compassion, and an understanding of human values, aspects that may be overlooked in an AI-centric approach. Closing By addressing these ethical considerations, developers, policymakers, and organizations should work toward responsible and ethical deployment in ensuring that it respects individual rights, privacy, and societal well-being. Without ethical considerations, developing and deploying AI systems may lead to unforeseen and undesirable consequences, leading to societal unrest, erosion of trust, and loss of confidence in technology. In conclusion, ethical guidelines are essential to ensure that the usage of AI is aligned with human values, respects individual rights, and contributes positively to society. Embracing these ethical principles, AI could become a technology creation that benefits humanity without compromising fundamental values and principles. BIBLIOGRAPHY Bernd, C. S. (2021).
