The company is developing a master plan hotel development that will foresee the construction of several hotel towers containing as much as 7,000 rooms to serve the pilgrims of the Holy Mosque. The first phase – the flagship 5-star hospitality “Anjum Hotel Makkah” of the Anjum brand with 1,743 rooms and suites was opened in 2014. Mr. Yousef Jameel is also the Chairman of the Yousef Abdul Latif Jameel Group, a group of companies committed to ethical and 100% sustainable, organic and environmentally friendly agriculture. The company has planted 300,000 date palms in Qassim and Medina and is poised to become one of the largest date farms in the world. As an additional company expansion, Mr. Yousef Jameel through his Group Companies has invested in the development of Phytopharmaceuticals and Semiconductor technology. One of the Group Companies, Unisantis Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, is collaborating with IMEC Belgium for the development of a three- dimensional transistor which would form the backbone of high powered chips as well as a novel memory. His father, the late Sheikh Abdul Latif Jameel placed a great importance on education for an individual to develop and succeed in life. In accordance with this tradition and belief inherited from his father, Mr. Yousef Jameel decided to sponsor education, scientific research and arts. Since 2004, Mr. Yousef Jameel has privately funded a comprehensive scholarship program benefiting almost 400 Ph.D, Master and MBA students all over the world in the fields of science, business and arts. Mr. Yousef Jameel has also established a new Science and Technology Research Centre and a Business School at The American University in Cairo focusing on the nanotechnology research. For USIM, Mr. Yousef Jameel has funded over one million US dollars scholarship for postgraduate programs since 2016. It is expected that the scholarship will continue until 2030. Mr. Yousef Jameel now provides business, financial and management advice as well as guidance for his family members to continue the legacy that has been built since a long time ago. Mr. Yousef Jameel’s contribution to developing business and dignifying education around the world should be recognized in order to be an example and role model for all. نتحدث اليوم عن قامة عظيمة وصلت أياديها البيضاء إلى كافة المجالات؛ فنشرت المحبة والسعادة، والعلم والمعرفة، إنّه السيد يوسف جميل هو الابن الأكبر للسيد عبد اللطيف جميل. فقد أسس السيد عبد اللطيف جميل شركة عبد اللطيف جميل، وهي مؤسسة يتمثل نشاطها الرئيس في توزيع السيارات التي تحمل علامة تويوتا التجارية للمملكة العربية السعودية. على مر السنين حافظت تويوتا على مكانتها الرائدة علامة تجارية رائدة للسيارات التي تباع في المملكة العربية السعودية حتى الآن. . ولم يكتف 1968 حصل السيد يوسف جميل على البكالوريوس في الاقتصاد من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة عام . بعد تخرجه من مؤسسة التعليم 2008 بذلك فقد حصل لاحقا على درجة فخرية من الجامعة نفسها في عام العالي، حيث أمضى السيد يوسف جميل بعض الوقت في اليابان لحضور التدريب الإداري والتقني لتعزيز المعرفة. ثم عاد بعد ذلك إلى المملكة العربية السعودية لإدارة أعمال عائلته. واستنادا إلى معرفته الدقيقة وخبرته الواسعة رئيسًا تنفيذيًا لمجموعة جميل، استطاع كعادته أن يحقق النجاح والتميز في تأسيس ذراع المبيعات وخدمة ما بعد البيع لعلامة تويوتا التجارية في الجزائر.
