| Majlis Konvokesyen ke-19 USIM 43 He began to be actively involved in da’wah activities during his studies at the university level. He used to lead the National Association of Malaysian Muslim Students as well as the University of Malaya Muslim Students Association. He then headed ABIM as the third President from 1983-1991. He was the former President of the Wadah Pencerdasan Umat Malaysia (WADAH) from 2005-2015. Dato’ Dr Siddiq was an Academic Fellow and the Head of the Panel of Authors of the Tauhidic module and the Islamic Management: Appreciating Qur’anic Values book. In the academic field, he served as a lecturer at UKM from 1974 to 2001. To honour his services, he was awarded the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (P.C.M) in 1995 and the Darjah Dato ‘Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) in 2001 by His Royal Majesty Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan. He received the Perak Tokoh Maal Hijrah Award (2006) and was awarded the National Tokoh Maal Hijrah on 10 September 2018. He delivered the Inaugural Lecture on 4 October 2018 (24 Muharram 1440H) at the Institut Latihan Ilmu Islam Malaysia (ILIM), Bangi. He was very active in da’wah activities throughout his life. He had delivered numerous academic lectures, especially in the fields of Islamic Thought, Malay Civilization, Islamic Education and Islamic Management. Besides, he had also produced various writings, particularly in the field of Islamic thought and sciences, history, and Malay-Islamic culture. He hadwritten several influential books namely, The History of the Chinese in Malaya; The Awakening of the People: Reality and Hope; Under the Auspices of the Quran; Raising the Dignity of the People; The New Malay Mind; Qur’anic Perspectives: Thematic Discourse Series; Nation Empowerment: The Role of Leadership, Religion and Culture, Education of al-Hikmah and the Mission of Enlightenment I & II; Islam and the Malays and Nation Building: Diversity in the Framework of Union. At USIM, he delivered a Public Lecture entitled “Defining a university: Integration and Human” Empowerment on 14 March 2019 as well as knowledge sharing sessions with the academics of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. On 31 August 2021 (22 Muharram 1443H) during the celebration of the 64th anniversary of Malaysia’s independence, Dato’ Dr Siddiq returned to his creator by leaving a treasure trove of knowledge and works of Islamic thoughts that are very beneficial to all Muslims. Hopefully, all his contributions will be rewarded accordingly and recognised as pious deeds in the sight of Allah SWT. م في باغان داتوك في ولاية بيراك الماليزية. التحق بمدرسة 1947 ولد داتوك الدكتور صديق فاضل في الرابع من يناير عام م. ثم استمر تعليمه في كلية لمباه بانتاي لتعليم اللغات 1966 إلى � 1959 عزالدين ودرس فيها في الفترة الممتدة من عام إ سلامية من � أعلى درجة الدكتوراه في مجال الثقافة الماليزية والفلسفة ال � م). حصل على 1968( م) و 1967( خلال سنتين آداب � إ سلامي من الجامعة نفسها. كما حصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في ال � الجامعة الوطنية الماليزية، والماجستير في الفكر ال م) من جامعة مالايا الماليزية. يشغل مهمات عديدة منها رئيس لكلية دار الحكمة، 1974( إ سلامية في عام � و الدراسات ال إ سلامية للدراسات � إ حسان، و رئيس مركز مقاصد الشريعة ال � أمناء معهد دار ال � أ مة الماليزية، ورئيس مجلس � ورئيس ذكاء ال أمناء جامعة � أكاديمية لدراسات الحضارة. كما تم تعيينه رئيساً لمجلس � أستاذ الزائر في جامعة سيلانجور ورئيس � والبحوث، وال م. 2021 من شهر سبتمبر 30 إلى � م 2018 أكتوبر � إ سلامية الماليزية من فاتح شهر � العلوم ال أت مشاركته و نشاطته الدعوية منذ دراسته في المرحلة الجامعية. وكان رئيسا للرابطة الوطنية الماليزية للطلاب المسلمين � بد إ سلامية الماليزية في الفترة � الماليزيين. وكذلك رئيساً لرابطة الطلاب المسلمين في جامعة مالايا الماليزية. ورئيساً لقوة الشباب ال
