PENGASIH has been accepting Industrial Training (internship) students from the Graduate Diploma in Drug Abuse and Master of Counseling (Drug Abuse) SPADA programmes since theywere first offered in 2005. So far, more than 40 SPADA students have completed Industrial Training at Rumah PENGASIH. USIM’s collaboration through the Asian Center for Research in Drug Abuse (ACREDA) and PENGASIH was formally signed in 2014 through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Among the collaborations carried out are training and prevention education, research and industrial training. Various programmes have been held with USIM at the local and international levels, including the biennial conference Empowering Youth for Drug-Free Community (EYDFC) and the International Conference on Drug Rehabilitation Prevention and Treatment (PREVENT).
