59 discount Islamic contributions to peace. This deficit in communication feeds into Islamophobia but also hampers worldwide cooperation and resolution of conflict. At the same time, global communication provides unparalleled possibilities for engagement in good. Muslims are now able to project their voices internationally and express views that counter misapprehensions whilst disseminating peace narratives of Islam. New inroads, represented by campaigns on social media, interfaith efforts, and transnational networks linking scholars and civil society actors, are also helping to produce a more nuanced global discussion. Used responsibly, these channels can magnify the messages of coexistence, human dignity, and shared moral principles. Global communication for peace- building is more than information transfer; it is dialogue grounded in respect and empathy. In Islamic ethics, lying, slander, and hatred are all discouraged as toxic influences in one’s life. The moral of these stories seems particularly important in today’s global media environment, which is far too often dominated by speed, outrage, and polarisation. Integrating such ethical values into the global communication process can minimise misinterpretations and tensions among cultures and communities. Furthermore, Islam’s concept of human solidarity provides a moral basis for global solidarity. The Qur’an upholds human diversity as a reflection of divine wisdom and mandates cultivating mutual knowledge rather than enmity. And this offer resonates with modern images of global citizenship, which would not supersede but instead work through differences. Peace- building rooted in Islamic tradition transcends, therefore, the Muslim ummah and can serve as a universal paradigm for justice, dialogue, and coexistence. Closing Finally, Islam and peace-building are inextricably intertwined with global communication. Islamic principles offer powerful moral and practical assets for managing conflict, sustaining justice, and achieving lasting peace. Admittedly, global communication both causes and has the potential to shed light on such contributions and to foster intercultural and interreligious conversations. By treating Islam not as a problem to be solved but as a partner in peace, the world can take one step closer to being that much more just, merciful, and peaceful. BIBLIOGRAPHY Al-Quran.
