MANASIK2025 Putrajaya, Malaysia, 7-8 Oktober 2025 624 CONCLUSION The policy of providing assistance to disabled hajj pilgrims in Indonesia has developed significantly. This policy aims to ensure the comfort and safety of disabled pilgrims during their religious duties. The government provides special facilities and support that enhance accessibility, such as wheelchairs and hearing aids. In practice, companions play a vital role, not only in physical support but also in offering emotional support and understanding of the worship rituals, ensuring that the pilgrims' spiritual experience is maintained. An inclusive companion model is necessary to meet the individual needs of disabled hajj pilgrims, which includes special training for companions and the provision of disability- friendly facilities. Trained companions help overcome mobility challenges and provide psychological support, allowing pilgrims to focus on their worship smoothly and meaningfully. This inclusive companion arrangement is crucial in creating a fair and welcoming pilgrimage experience for everyone, ensuring that every pilgrim can experience the spiritual depth of each hajj ritual. The presence of companions for disabled hajj pilgrims not only boosts their confidence but also serves as an essential condition for meeting the criteria of istitha'ah. The arrangement of companions during the hajj registration process is considered critical in creating an inclusive and meaningful worship experience. This study recommends strengthening regulations related to the role of companions to ensure that the rights of disabled pilgrims are fully met, allowing them to perform their worship safely, comfortably, and meaningfully.
