Retirement of Dr. Najib Sheikh bin Abdisamad Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Contemporary Islamic Thought, University of Malaya, Malaysia in Department of Akidah and Islamic Thought, Academy of Islamic Studies. He has conducted a research titled ‘Cultural Challenges of Globalization Towards Muslims and the Response of Contemporary Islamic Thought.’ From September 2003 to February 2004, Dr. Najib Sheikh Abdisamad taught Introduction to Aqida in the Islamic Finance course. Then, from February 2007 to November 2008, he was a part-time lecturer at the School of Islamic studies, IKIP International College in Kuantan, Pahang, teaching dialogue and debate. Next, he worked as a part-time lecturer in the Art of Public Speaking at International Islamic University College Selangor in Bandar Seri Putra, Kajang, Selangor, from June 2004 until August 2009. In the beginning on April 14, 2012, he continued his journey as a lecturer inthe Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). Najib Sheikh bin Abdisamad is his given name. He is a senior lecturer from the Faculty of Leadership and Management at the Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM). He received an education at the University level in 1994 with a Bachelor’s in Shariah and Usuluddin, Qatar University, Doha, State of Qatar. Then, he continued his study in Master of Islamic Thought at the University of Malaya, Malaysia in the year of 2002. He was in the Department of Akidah and Islamic Thought, Academy of Islamic Studies. His dissertation title was ‘Al Baqialan and His Opinions Towards Attributes of Allah’. After successfully achieving his studies at the Master’s level, he got the opportunity to continue his studies at the PhD level. He continued his study in 2011 with Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Contemporary Islamic Thought, University of Malaya, Malaysia in Department of Akidah and Islamic Thought, Academy of Islamic Studies. He has conducted a research titled ‘Cultural Challenges of Globalization Towards Muslims and the Response of Contemporary Islamic Thought.’ 27
