FEM eNewsletter | June 2024 20 were highlighted in MFPC’s magazine, further demonstrating the success of the partnership in shaping future leaders in financial planning and wealth management. The culmination of these efforts resulted in FEM being awarded the MFPC Excellence in Financial Planning Advancement Award under the category of Financial Planning Educational Impact and Outreach. The award was presented at the 11th MFPC Conference on Shariah Wealth Management and Financial Planning during the MFPC’s 20th Anniversary Luncheon, held at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur in May 2024. This accolade reflects FEM’s dedication to advancing financial education and fostering meaningful industry connections, while serving as a motivation for continued excellence and global recognition. the MFPC Board approved a modular maximum exemption for the Shariah RFP program. This approval enabled students to receive immediate exemptions for various financial planning topics, such as estate planning, retirement planning, risk and Takaful planning, and investment and Zakat planning. This advancement has made it easier for students to attain professional certification, offering them a head start in their careers. By 2022, FEM had secured the Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi - Professional Certification (KPT-PACE) grant worth RM70,596.00 to further support students in their pursuit of Shariah RFP certification, benefitting 40 final-year students and graduates. The collaboration between FEM and MFPC has not only benefited students but also recognized their achievements. Each year, MFPC selects standout students to receive the prestigious Best Student Award. In 2023, Muhammad Azwar Amin Mohd Abdillih, a student from the 2019/2020 cohort, was honored with the Best Student Award for his exceptional performance in the Shariah RFP Program.
