SHARIFUDIN MD SHAARANI The chosen theme, “Interactive Education Empowering Madani Intellect”, resonates strongly with USIM’s philosophy of integrating naqli and aqli knowledge. Our vision is to nurture graduates and communities who are not only skilled and creative but also guided by ethics, values, and compassion. Gamification in education, when rooted in these principles, becomes more than just engagement, it becomes a tool for shaping intellect, character, and resilience. I commend the Centre of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) for taking the lead in conceptualising and delivering this pioneering programme. Their work exemplifies USIM’s commitment to learner- centred pedagogy and future-ready innovation. By connecting schools, higher education institutions, and industry partners, EduGC creates a vibrant ecosystem where ideas can be tested, refined, and scaled for wider adoption. On behalf of USIM, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organising committee, collaborators, and participants for making EduGC 2025 a reality. May this inaugural effort inspire a legacy of continuous innovation in education, benefiting learners and society at large.
