The University Health Centre provides its staffandstudentsmedical services, including outpatient treatment, on-call, emergency and stand-by, haemodialysis, dental, and a Wellness Clinic with gymnasium and rehabilitation services. The University Health Centre is currently housing eleven staff consisting of a medical officer, an assistant medical officer, an assistant pharmacist, three staff nurses, an assistant administrative officer, an assistant officer, a health attendant, and two ambulance drivers. Locum medical officer is also provided for the existing medical officer to attend patients whose average number can reach up to forty per day. Inaugurated by His Majesty the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan on 4 th October 2017, this two -storey complex was built on 2 nd June 2014 with an area of 6616m 2 . It is fully equipped with a main prayer hall that can accommodate up to 4000 congregation at a time, study rooms, mortuary management room, zakat counter and other facilities. The features of Islamic architecture in this Islamic complex are prominent in the construction of the mosque tower, its main dome, as well as the carvings on the mihrab and prayer hall. The existence of the Tuanku Muhriz Islamic Complex is also a form of translation of USIM’s responsibilities as an Islamic university that supports the elements of governance, policy and direction of the university based on the Quranic and Sunnah at all times.
