Course Types Postgraduate Diploma Master’s Degree Doctoral Degree Academic Programmes Levels of Study 1 2 3 In this mode, students shall a. attend and pass all required courses and shall be subjected to various course assessments and examinations; and b. conduct a Master’s research project which carries not more than 30% of the programme total credit. Coursework-mode In this mode, students shall conduct research which carries not less than 70% of the programme credit, culminating into a thesis and subjected to thesis examination and viva-voce as a fulfilment of the degree requirement. Research-mode In this mode, students shall a. attend and pass all required courses and shall be subjected to various course assessments and examinations; and b. conduct research which carries at least 50% but not more than 70% of the programme credit, culminating into a Master’s dissertation as partial fulfilment of the degree requirement.
